With a gentle breath of air — never a cloth. A cloth would flatten the filaments and lose the effect. A puff of air is all they need.
Can I use them outside or in a bathroom?
No. These are indoors only, in dry rooms. They aren't waterproof — keep them out of bathrooms, and off covered porches and balconies too. Damp air alone is enough to spoil the filaments.
