Do I need to plug them in or set a timer?
No. Set the switch to ON once and you never touch them again. The panel charges through the day, and a light sensor turns the flowers on the moment dusk arrives — then off again at sunrise. No cable, no outlet, no timer.
How long do they stay on?
8 to 12 hours on a full charge, which takes 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight. In midsummer that covers the whole night comfortably.
What happens on a cloudy day?
They charge more slowly and run for less of the night. Give them the sunniest spot you have — the panel needs direct light, not just daylight. A stake in permanent shade won't hold a charge.
Can they stay out in winter?
Yes. They're rated IP65 — rain, frost and snow. There's nothing to bring indoors when the weather turns, and nothing to reinstall in spring.
Can I use them indoors?
They'll light, but they won't charge. The panel needs direct sunlight, so indoors they'll stop after a night or two. This one is made for the garden — for a room, our other pieces run on batteries or USB.
How many stakes do I get?

How tall are they?

Can I bend the stems?
Yes — the stems and leaves are wrapped around flexible wire. Angle each flower exactly where you want it, and rearrange the whole group next season.
Are they bright enough to light a path?
They're ambient lighting, not floodlighting. The layered fabric petals scatter the light rather than reflect it, so a border feels warm rather than lit up. If you need to see your footing on a dark path, pair them with a proper path light.
What colours are there?
Pink, blue and white. Each set of four stakes comes in a single colour.
How do I clean them?
Wipe the solar panel with a dry cloth now and then — a dusty panel charges badly, and that's the one thing that shortens the evening. The flowers themselves need nothing.
